About Us

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

"Banking with Neighbors and Friends" is more than just a motto to First National Bank of Winnsboro.

Our employees can be seen all around the community as they volunteer their time to youth sports, Boy Scouts, Raider Pride Booster Club, Relay For Life, Volunteer Fire Department, various cemetery boards, Vo-Ag Booster Club, Band Boosters, Autumn Trails pageants and events, the Winnsboro & Winona Chamber of Commerce, and the Winnsboro Rodeo Association, to name a few. We also contribute to our local churches as Sunday school teachers, choir & handbell members, a church deacon, and even serve on the churches' financial committees. Employees also take the time to mentor at our local schools.

Giving back to our community is very important to First National Bank of Winnsboro. A scholarship program is sponsored each year for graduating seniors from the Winnsboro & Winona High Schools. The bank also provides special reading books for elementary students and supports Elementary Track & Field Day. A "Pays for A's" program is offered as an additional incentive for students to make good grades. The Little Dribblers basketball program is also supported along with the baseball, softball, soccer, and football programs. Graduating high school students are also rewarded with a fun-filled day at the end of the school year. Our latest endeavors have been a school supply drive benefiting the local schools and the "Together We CAN!" food drive benefiting our local food bank.

Another way the bank gives back to the community is by hosting a Customer Appreciation Barbecue. This has become an annual event usually hosted in the Fall. It is a special way of thanking our bank customers in which over 600 people are served good food, good music, and enjoy a night of fellowship.

Yes, "Banking with Neighbors and Friends" is more than just a motto! We're happy to be a part of this wonderful community, and even more proud to call it home.
